Terms of use
Last updated 16 October 2026
In short: Match Day is free to use at the moment. Use first names only for
players, only invite coaches you trust, and save a backup at the end of each season. If we ever start
charging, we'll tell you in the app first.
Who we are
Match Day is provided by Mark Miles Consultancy Limited, registered in England and Wales
(company number 08286044; registered office 19 Well Close, Winscombe, England, BS25 1HQ). Contact:
hello@matchday-app.uk.
Using Match Day
- Match Day is for coaches and helpers of grassroots teams. Only add players with your club's agreement.
- Add first names only for players, and keep notes about players respectful and to do with the sport.
See the privacy page.
- Only give your team's invite code to coaches you trust, and only accept join requests from people you know.
Remove coaches who leave the club.
- Don't try to get into other teams' information, interfere with the service or use it for anything unlawful.
Cost
Match Day is free to use at the moment. If we introduce charges, we'll tell you in the app at least 30 days
before, and nothing you've already entered will be deleted or locked away without notice.
Keeping it working
We work hard to keep Match Day running and your information safe, but we can't promise it will always be
available or free of faults, for example with no signal at a pitch. The app saves on your phone and uploads when
there's signal. Save a backup (☰ → Backup) at the end of each season.
We may change or improve features. If we ever close Match Day, we'll give at least 60 days' notice so you can
save your teams' backups.
Our responsibility
We're responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or not taking
reasonable care. We're not responsible for business losses, or for losses we couldn't have foreseen. Nothing here
limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
Ending
You can stop using Match Day at any time and ask us to delete your team or account. We may suspend a team
that breaks these terms, after telling its coaches why where we can.
Changes and the law
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app first. These terms are governed by the
law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim there.
